Chinmaya Mission offers Vedanta classes for adults and Bala Vihar classes for children, creating a shared spiritual and values-based learning experience for the entire family. Adult Vedanta classes focus on the study of Hindu scriptures and Vedantic philosophy, guiding participants toward self-inquiry, clarity of thought, and inner growth, while connecting timeless wisdom to modern life.
Bala Vihar classes provide children and teens with age-appropriate instruction rooted in Indian culture, values, and Vedantic teachings. Through stories, discussions, activities, and reflection, students develop character, confidence, devotion, and a strong moral foundation in a supportive community setting. Together, these programs nurture spiritual growth across generations and foster lifelong learning grounded in Sanatana Dharma.
To best serve our community, classes will initially be divided into the following four groups:
Lower Elementary (Bala Vihar): Ages 0 through 2nd grade
Upper Elementary (Bala Vihar): 3rd through 5th grade
Middle School (Bala Vihar)
High School (Bala Vihar)
Each group will follow an age-appropriate Chinmaya Mission curriculum focused on values, self-development, and Vedantic teachings, presented in an engaging and meaningful way.
